While waiting for the grass to dry this morning for mowing, I snapped some pictures at the park. The prairie grass is getting awfully tall!

Stone State Park is 1600 acres of woodland and prairie located in the Loess Hills of northwest Iowa. 2012 marked the 100th anniversary of the park.
The Friends of Stone Park meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM at the Dorothy Peacaut Nature Center.
